CHALLENGES![]() In February 2000, to mark the Millenium, Piers and I embarked on our first charity challenge cycling 450 miles through Rajasthan in India raising money for the National Deaf Children's Society. It was an unforgettable adventure, giving us our first taste of fundraising and my first real experience of a foreign culture. We relished the challenge of the expedition, setting ourselves goals in training and fundraising until we had crossed the finish line and reached our targets. Joined by 92 other charity challenge cyclists we also made some life long friends. I was hooked on all aspects and upon my return I signed up to run the New York marathon for Get Kids Going that November. The PSA are happy to be linked with the charity challenge company Across The Divide who run some incredible 'Just Events' offering you an unforgettable trip and the chance to raise valuable funds in the process. Set yourself a challenge and sign up for one today! Taking part in a charity challenge can certainly be a life changing experience and by undertaking a challenge for SIAB you know that the funds you raise can give hope to a poor, orphan, vulnerable or disaster affected child.
